2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (New International Version)

16May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, 17encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

The journey continues. We are still heading toward a healthier body. Some days the journey is more difficult than other days. Some days we want to quit. Some days we just need a little encouragement to keep us going. Some days we need a lot.

We can encourage each other when the opportunity arises. We should. It is important that we support each other on the way to the finish line. But to be quite honest, that is sometimes just not enough. More is needed, more is desired.

When we reach that point is when we need to remember this passage. This is a great reminder that Jesus is always there to hold us. He is eternally there to encourage us and support us. Allow Him to help you through the hard times. Do not forget that He wants to hold you in His arms and let you know you can do this.
